Why Climate Change Control?

Recycling conserves natural resources, reduces pollution and saves energy

Everyone can help limit climate change. From the way we travel, to the electricity we use and the food we eat, we can make a difference. Start with these twelve actions to help tackle the climate crisis. Humans and wild animals face new challenges for survival because of climate change. More frequent and intense drought, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and warming oceans can directly harm animals, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people’s livelihoods and communities.

Overall, glaciers are melting at a faster rate. Sea ice in the Arctic Ocean around the North Pole is melting faster with the warmer temperatures. Permafrost is melting, releasing methane, a powerful greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere. Sea levels are rising, threatening coastal communities and estuarine ecosystems.

Climate change refers to the change in the environmental conditions of the earth. This happens due to many internal and external factors. The climatic change has become a global concern over the last few decades. Besides, these climatic changes affect life on the earth in various ways.
The evidence is clear: the main cause of climate change is NOT burning fossil fuels such as oil, gas, and coal. When burnt, fossil fuels release carbon dioxide into the air, causing the planet to heat up, but rather the people that continue to burn and use fossil fuels. Our lifestyles are the cause of climate change and if we start with how we live, then we can make a positive impact on the environment.

Introduction

Climate Change Control

This is an International Manual dedicated to ‘Environmental Sustain for Future Kids’ for a sustainable living education. TTAIN & ESFK improves quality of life and reduces environmental degradation by fostering new consumption patterns and sustainable lifestyles through International Cooperative Extension Service programs at houses, offices, schools and libraries all over the globe. Climate change is real.

The manual then illustrates the difference between adaptation (taking steps to live with the changes) and mitigation (taking steps to slow the rate of change.) Adaptation examples include food, energy, transportation, recreation. Mitigation focuses on effectively engaging with local governments, through serving on advisory boards, communicating with public officials, educational institutes, schools, universities, libraries and leading communities towards climate change actions. One useful way to mitigate climate change is through increasing public knowledge to better understand the impact of the rate of change on plants and animals.

This is crucial for preserving species; and for assessing potential insects and disease outbreaks in agriculture, natural resources and public health. Taking personal action is a key element of this manual. Citizens are challenged to consume 20% fewer resources, to bring world consumption levels down as much as possible. Readers are given 12 practical steps to take to make the changes. The resources section provides additional information, and readers are encouraged to contact the author for further questions.

As an accessibility action, we have provided Online international courses on climate change control as well. You can access the courses via the following link:  https://toptenaward.org
